I've been on a mission to reclaim my fitness lately. But at 44, I'm busy working, parenting, and juggling all the projects, and my own fitness was getting put on the bottom of the list.

Data is one answer. Seeing the facts and outcomes of the progress you made during those waves of inspiration adds fuel to the fire of intent.
I've been tracking my steps and getting at least 10,000/day. I've been taking the stairs at work which is significant when your office is in a basement and your patients and team are on the 7th and 16th floors! And I've been insisting that I am going jogging, to hot yoga, and doing weights in the den more than a few times a week.
But that number on the scale? It doesn't tell you if you are losing fat, gaining muscle, or increasing your metabolic rate. It doesn't unless you have the Inbody scale, that is. Each morning this scale gives me data that gives me that breadcrumb of reassurance that my efforts are moving the needle towards my goals. It shows me the history of the data so I can see how far I've come, see how small gains are. But also know I'm making progress, little by little, with consistent effort.
